The Pierce County Paramedic Airway Management (PAM) Course is an eight-hour course intended to optimize the knowledge, skills and abilities of experienced prehospital providers in managing the airway, oxygenation and ventilation of EMS patients. Course participants, working in small groups, practice technical and critical decision-making skills through a series of airway management scenarios. Written and practical evaluations are also included to measure performance.
